Melford Technologies has provided market leading display solutions for over 50 years. We are a well established and respected supplier to our clients in the marine, transport, and military, sectors and more recently have made a strong hold in the retail and hospitality sectors.
Over the years our products have featured in some interesting use cases from helping military tank drivers safely navigate their terrain to guiding lifeboats to rescue missions in the English Channel. A Melford DU16-14C colour monitor. One of a series of professional quality monitors widely in use in TV broadcasting in the 1970s through to the 1990s. They were found in studio control room galleries and outside broadcast trucks. TV props hire companies still offer these today, in full working order, for use in film productions recreating this era.
In April 2021 Melford Technologies were honoured with the prestigious Queens Award for Enterprise in the category of International Trade.
