The challenge
Melford Technologies was approached by our partner and interior shopfitting experts Creation Shopfitters to deliver a video wall solution for leading car and van hire service provider Europcar.

Initially starting with their flagship site at St James Quarter in Edinburgh, Europcar wanted to use large format digital signage to display their latest promotional content and offers in the highest footfall areas of their airport sites.
Given the busy and high-demand environments at airports, it was important for Europcar to be able to communicate their key messaging in an effective and highly engaging manner. In addition, given the constantly evolving range of vehicles on offer, Europcar
needed to ensure content could be updated quickly to meet the changing needs of their customers.

The solution
After assessing a range of possible options, Europcar selected our LCD Video Walls as the ideal fit for their requirements.
These 4K compatible displays with a wide viewing angle were perfect for their high-quality content and thanks to their automatic tiling and daisy chain capabilities, the displays could be easily adapted to specific site locations. Additionally, built-in power timers, low power consumption and temperature control ensured great efficiency and guaranteed longevity.
Following the success of their Edinburgh installation, Europcar selected the same solution for their sites at Manchester Airport, Stansted Airport and Gatwick Airport, with more site installations planned in future.
